HEALTHY NUTELLA

  • 200 g Centralsun hazelnuts
  • 100 g soft pitted dates
  • 80 g dark chocolate
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 50 ml coconut oil or hot water

Preparation:
Preparation: Roast the nuts in the oven at 180 degrees for 10 minutes until nicely golden. Allow to cool, then remove most of the shell from the nuts by rubbing them between a dry towel or shaking them vigorously in a jar with a lid. Pour hot water over the dates and soak for 10-15 minutes, then drain. Using a blender or food processor, process the nuts until they form a smooth nut butter. Depending on the power of the machine, this can take up to 10 minutes. The longer you blend, the more liquid the mixture will be. Add the melted chocolate, salt and soft dates to the nut butter and process again until smooth. If you want a creamier, more liquid consistency, add 50 ml coconut oil or hot water while the mixture is still being blended. Use the homemade Nutella on bread, pancakes, porridges, strawberry dip, etc.
