Freeze-dried papaya powder

Freeze-dried papaya powder is a sweet tropical powder made from 100% papaya that brings the fruit’s natural flavour and colour to smoothies, porridge and desserts.

Papaya (Carica papaya) is an exotic fruit with deep roots in the cultures of Central and South America, where it has been valued for centuries for its sweet taste. After contact with Europeans, papaya also spread to Asia and Africa and became popular in regions with a tropical climate.

To make the powder, the fruit is freeze-dried (lyophilised): it is dried at a low temperature under vacuum, which preserves papaya’s natural flavour, aroma and colour, and is then turned into a fine powder. No sugar or preservatives are added, and the powder has a naturally sweet, mild taste.

Papaya powder is an easy way to enjoy tropical fruit all year round without worrying about it spoiling. Stir it into smoothies, yoghurt or chia pudding, sprinkle it over porridge, or use it in raw cakes and banana ice cream.
