Organic Cacao Nibs 300 g

Organic cacao nibs are crunchy pieces of organically grown cacao beans (Theobroma cacao). The nibs are made from 100% cacao beans that have been fermented, sun-dried and then crushed into small pieces. They have an intense cacao flavour that is bitter, nutty and earthy.

Cacao nibs suit both sweet and savoury dishes and add a deep cacao flavour and a crunchy texture.

How are cacao nibs made?

The cacao pods are harvested and the cacao beans are separated from the fruit pulp through fermentation. The beans are then dried in the sun and crushed into small pieces. The result is cacao nibs whose only ingredient is organic cacao beans.
