Organic freeze-dried cilantro powder

100% organic cilantro with a traceable origin

Centralsun organic freeze-dried cilantro powder is made from cilantro leaves (Coriandrum sativum) grown under controlled agricultural conditions in Belgium and the Netherlands. Systematic quality checks and documented batch information support traceability throughout the raw-material chain. Under Herbafrost’s quality monitoring plan, organic fresh-frozen herbs of EU origin are also tested for heavy metals at least once per year for each product.

From fresh cilantro to powder

The fresh leaves are carefully selected and washed. Surface water is removed by spinning, then the cilantro is cut and individually quick frozen (IQF). This IQF stage prepares the raw material for freeze-drying; it is not the freeze-drying step itself.

After the IQF stage, Centralsun freeze-dries the raw material and mills it into a fine powder. No additives, processing aids or added flavorings are used in the process.

Taste, aroma and everyday use

The powder has the characteristic fresh, herbaceous taste and aroma of cilantro. Its fine texture disperses evenly, making it practical for soups, sauces, dips, pesto, curries and smoothies. Start with a small amount, mix well and adjust to taste. For hot dishes, adding it near the end of cooking helps keep the cilantro character more noticeable.

Storage

Store the package in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Close it carefully after use and always use a dry spoon, as moisture can change the texture of the powder.
